Flight times and Frequency Control
Horneycross flight times - Fixed wing IC all day Saturday, Sunday till 2pm. Helicopters, electric aircraft and gliders anytime.
All flying to be carried out to the North of the cut strip.
Kingsmuir flight times - No flying on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday before 2pm.
Flying to be carried out according to sign.
Frequency Control
At Horneycross on the arrow on the B957 at the crossroads shown on the map just below Sheilhill we have a 35mhz frequency board on site for those flying. Theres is a small car park next to our site and you go through a gate into a field to the North of the road.
At the Kingsmuir site also shown on the map as an arrow just above Lownie Moor we use frequency pegs which we take with us and are attached to the model flying sign on site. See club members if you need a peg. Note that this site is actually a football pitch and park and is shared with other users. There is parking here as well.
